Job Objectives:
Ensure optimal performance of all applications before deployment to production. Deliver defined business performance on all solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze non-functional requirement documents and architecture diagrams
- Test environment setup and configuration
- Develop test scenarios/workload for performance tests
- Conduct front-end and back-end performance testing
- Analyze test results, coordinate with development teams to fix bottlenecks
- Review performance test reports
- Suggest new tools and techniques for testing efficiency improvement
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking activities
- Provide support in project design, development, and deployment activities
- Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
- Build and maintain performance testing strategy and framework
Key Performance Indicators:
- Delivery of stable applications with no performance-related issues in the production environment
- Fix identified bottlenecks
- Delivery within agreed timelines
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in a business/IT-related discipline
- Master’s, MBA, or a recognized professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 3+ years of IT testing/process management experience
- Experience testing in a cloud-based environment is a plus
- Full understanding of features and capabilities of industry-leading performance test tools such as HP Loadrunner
- Good knowledge of databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience building Performance Benchmarks and workloads, performance analysis, and tuning
- Good strategic planning and management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders
- Sound conflict management skills
- Sound administrative and managerial ability
